Tom advises government and business clients, focusing on statistics and advanced analytics – from building and validating large, multi-source datasets, to predictive modelling and communicating insights.
He specialises in using traditional statistical and advanced machine learning techniques to help clients understand and manage their activities, evaluate initiatives and project future outcomes.
Tom’s projects range from building pricing models for major Australian insurers, price optimisation, workers compensation outcomes modelling, marketing measurement, and valuations of New Zealand welfare and social housing programs.
Among our in-house initiatives, Tom takes part in Taylor Fry’s innovation function TF Labs, having researched and developed causal inference methods to optimise personalised marketing programs for a large corporate client.
